The Township of Mapleton's Fire/ Rescue Emergency Response team provides fire suppression, medical aid, auto extrication, water rescue and confined space rescue. Our Department takes pride in protecting the community from fire, life-threatening emergencies and dangerous conditions. We also provide fire safety education. Our team includes a full time fire chief, part-time fire prevention officer and 45 volunteer fire fighters from within our community. We have a full fleet of rescue vehicles and two fire halls:
