Financial Assistance

Child Care Fee Subsidy

Child care fee subsidy can help to pay for licensed child care for children ages birth to 12 years. It is only available at centres that are subsidy approved by the County of Wellington. For more information, please visit the Wellington County website.

Free to Grow Program

The Children's Foundation of Guelph and Wellington offers a Free to Grow Program. he Free to Grow Program nurtures the physical, social, emotional, and mental well-being of children and youth by funding recreational and life-skill opportunities such as sports, arts, camps, driver's education training and leadership development. Athletic and Cultural Bursary 

The Township of Mapleton has an Athletic and Cultural bursary for students who are competing or completing one of the below.

The Athletic bursary is a $250.00 bursary to encourage youth who reside in the Township of Mapleton to expand their life experiences through sport and to offset the cost of competing at the Provincial, National or International Level.

The Cultural Competition bursary is a $250.00 bursary to encourage youth who reside in the Township of Mapleton to expand their life experiences through cultural activities and to offset the cost of competing at the Provincial, National or International Level.

The Cultural Exchange bursary is a $500.00 bursary to encourage youth who reside in the Township of Mapleton to expand their life experiences through cultural studies or exchange programs outside of Canada.
