After 39 years of service to the Mapleton Fire Department, Fire Chief Rick Richardson has announced his retirement effective Friday July 14^th, 2023. Rick has been an integral part of our Fire Department since January 1984 and has served as Fire Chief since October 2002. We extend our best wishes to Rick and his family as he embarks on this new chapter in his life.
