COVID-19 July 14, 2020 Update

On Monday July 13, 2020 Premier Ford announced that beginning Friday July 17, 2020 many regions will be moving to Phase 3 of reopening which includes the County of Wellington.

We are pleased to announce, starting Friday July 17, 2020, Mapleton Playgrounds will re-open for public use, please ensure you are following social distancing protocols.  ALL Township facilities will reopen Monday July 20, 2020, this includes the Township administration office, PMD Arena, Moorefield Community Centre, Alma Community Centre, and the Moorefield Optimist Hall. The Township will begin taking bookings for ball diamonds, soccer fields, the Moorefield Community Centre and the PMD hall at this time. For rentals at the Alma Community Centre or Moorefield Optimist Hall please contact them directly. Any events or gatherings held are subject to provincial guidelines.

For the time being the Township Administration Office hours will remain on the reduced hours of 10am-4pm. If visiting the office, please note face coverings are mandatory as per section 22 of Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health’s class order.

We continue to praise the community of Mapleton on their cooperation and patience during such unprecedented times.
