The Township of Mapleton today received ‘Notice of an Appeal’ of a zoning by-law
decision from Core Fuels Ltd with respect to a property at 6976 Wellington Road 7
in Alma.
The applicant had proposed installation of four underground propane tanks on the
property to be used for propane storage and distribution.
Township Council refused the application at their meeting on September 8, 2020.
Core Fuels believes their application was consistent with both the Provincial Policy
Statement and the County Official Plan.
The appeal will be heard by the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT).
