TOWNSHIP OF MAPLETON
Facility Temporary Closure

Today the Township of Mapleton as well as the whole Wellington-Dufferin–Guelph Public Health region has moved into the Red–Control under the Keeping Ontario Safe and Open Framework.

The Township of Mapleton has ensured that public safety is their top priority throughout the entire COVID-19 pandemic. To ensure that this continues and we are doing our part to the help stop the spread of COVID-19 Township of Mapleton will be closing all Township owned Community Centers from December 25th 2020 until at least January 8th 2021.  The PMD Arena will remain open for organized sports under strict guidelines.

We understand that the holidays may look a little different this year, but we want you all to know we are all in this fight against COVID-19 together. Please remember to remain diligent and follow all public health measures, support our local businesses and to check in on family members virtually during this holiday season.

Please remember the Township of Mapleton administrative office is closed to the public operating under APPOINTMENT ONLY visits. If you need to book an appointment, please call 519-638-3313.

Residents who have any symptoms or concerns of COVID-19 are asked not to call 9-1-1, but instead to visit the Ontario governments self-assessment tool, contact Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health at 1-800-265-7293 ext. 7006 (after hours call 1-877-884-8653) or Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000.
