The Trees For Mapleton Program is inviting anyone interested in Spring 2010 tree planting to call for an appointment. Coordinator, Dallas Campbell will be happy to work with you on lining up a planting project. There has been a lot of interest in this Township recently in tree planting. This is shown by the 30 kilometers of windbreaks that were planted on private properties this past spring and the 3,000 tall stock trees that recently went into several more kilometers of windbreaks during our fall tree plant.

The benefits of trees on your property vary from increased crop yields to reduced heating prices. We are looking to help plant over 60,000 strategically placed trees in Mapleton Township this coming spring.
  Studies and anecdotal observations suggest the average farmer can increase their bottom line by $20,000.00 per year with trees in the right places

There is a limited amount of trees available for this program and planting plans are being designed right now.
