Come and Explore Mapleton

We invite you to explore all the possibilities that are available to you – either as a new or current resident, or if you're simply stopping by for a short visit. Our Community Guide provides information on our Festivals and Events, including the annual Spring Rural Romp, Mapleton Canada Day and other Taste Real events.

The Mapleton Historical Society is one of the many active community groups in our municipality. Explore exhibits, participate in events or research your history at the Wellington County Museum & Archives.

From Broadway musicals, to laugh-a-minute comedies and riveting dramas, Drayton Festival Theatre is one of the finest in live theatre for all ages.

Conestogo Lake Park is located in the heart of Mapleton. It offers visitors the chance to camp, boat, sail, waterski, canoe and fish on a y-shaped reservoir that stretches six kilometres up each arm. The reservoir is created by Conestogo Dam, which has a viewing area providing a unique vista of the river and pharmacy surrounding forests and farms.

Nonetheless, there is good fun to be had in every season. Come experience Mapleton for yourself. It really is everything you imagine, and so much more!
